Robert E. Pressley was born 4 Sept 1927, the son of Robert C. Pressley
and Mabel Ramsey of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
He bravely served the U.S. Army during World War II, participating in
 the Battle of Okinawa in the spring of 1945 where 12,000 American died.
He remained in the U.S. Army after the war, retiring in 1961. 
Robert E. Pressley died 18 September 1997 and our country lost
 a true American hero.
