            He served in the Confederate Army with the S. C. Volunteers in Co. F 23^rd S. C. Regt.
            holding the rank of Lt.  He was captured at Petersburg, Va. and held captive at
            Johnson Island...Father of Mrs. Minnie M. Pressley.

            The children of Augustus Frazier Pressley are also recorded in this Bible which is owned by
