The Court of Ordinary for the County of Hall was opened at the Court House in Gainesville on the first Monday, being the Second day of the Month of May 1864.

Court of Ordinary May Term 1864

W.D. PITMAN Guardian of Tempa Ann PRESLEY Orphan of Jasper PRESLY Deceased having brought into Court John MARTIN a fit and proper person to take his place as Guardian for the aforesaid Tempa Ann PRESLEY And the said John MARTIN  having Consented to accept said Guardianship  And given Bond and security in terms of the law

 It is Ordered that John MARTIN be and he is hereby Appointed Guardian for Tempa Ann PRESLEY Orphan of Jasper PRESLEY under the age of fourteen years.  And that letters issue to him accordingly.  And it is further  Ordered that W.D. PITMAN be and is hereby released and Dismissed from the further Guardianship of the said Tempa Ann PRESLEY Minor heir of Jasper PRESLEY Deceased
