Deed. The State of South Carolina
To
William WHITE
Know all men by these
presents that I John PUSLEY of Edgefield District in the State aforesaid for
and in consideration the sum of one Hundred and fifty Dollars to me in hand
paid by William White of Abbeville District
and State aforesaid Have granted bargained sold Released and by these presents
do Grant bargain sell and release unto the said William White All that
plantation or tract of land whereon I now live containing one hundred acres it
being more or less Situate lying and being in the District of Edgefield on the
waters of Cuffeetown Creek Beginning
and cornering on a Stake in the great survey line running thence N.E. with that
line to a Chesnut thence S.E. to a pine thence S.W. to a Stake, thence N.W. to
the Beginning Bounded W. by Abbeville District N. by John Henderson E. by
Shades Hendersons land S. by land formerly belonging to James Sanderford
Together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments and
appurtenances to the said premises belonging to or any wise incident on
appertaining to Have and To Hold all and singular the said premises unto the
said William White his heirs and assigns forever and I do hereby bind myself my
heirs Executors and Administrators to Warrant and forever defend all and
singular the said premises unto the said William White his heirs and assigns
against myself and my heirs and against every person or persons whomsoever
lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fourteenth day of
September one thousand Eight hundred and seven and in thirty second year of the
Independence of the United States of America.

the Law Directs saith that the Deponant saw John PUSLEY Sign the within Covance
