For and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to one in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold to John A. Greer of Madison County and State of Tennessee. I, Susan Pressley of the said County and State have this day sold to John A. Greer him, his heirs or assigns my entire life interest or dower in my late husbands two tracts of land one for 97 acres and one for 3 acres and a fraction being in the 7 civil district of Madison County and State of Tennessee. To have and to hold the same to the said Greer him and his heirs or assigns forever and bind myself and heirs to warrant and defend the same to the said Greer.

This given under my hand and seal this the 27 of Nov. 1886
