Know
all men by these presents that I Thomas PRESSLEY for and in consideration of
the sum of two hundred and twenty dollars to me in hand paid by W.F. DURISOL of
said place have granted bargained Sold and released and by these presents do
grant bargain. Sell and deliver unto the Said W.F. DURISOL his heirs Execs. Administrators or assigns
all that Lott or parcel of Land whereon I now Live containing by admeasurment
one acre and twenty one poles adjoining Lotts in Said place owned by Joseph
PHILIPS and Abner LANDRUM. Originally
owned by John HENDRIX and conveyed from him to A.Y. BURTON and from A.Y. BURTON
to Thomas PRESSLEY and by these presents from the said Thomas PRESLEY to the
said W. F. DURISOL. Together with all
and singular the rights members Hereditaments and Appurtenances to the said
premises belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold to the said
W.F. DURISOL his heirs Executors & administrators or assigns forever, and I
do hereby bind myself my heirs Executors Administrators and assigns to warrant
and forever defend all and Singular the aforesaid premises unto the said W.F.
DURISOL his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns agreeable to the true
intent and meaning of these presents.

fifty fifth year of the Sovereignty and Independency of the United States of
America
