The Sherman Democrat Bessie A. Presley Services for Bessie A. Presley of Route (unreadable), Sherman, 78-year-old retired Wilson N. Jones Licensed Vocational Nurse who died Saturday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, will be held at 10:30a.m. Tuesday in Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Thomas Beall of Bonham and Eddie Frazier will officiate, with burial in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Presley was born in Plano, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Taylor, and married William Presley, Jan. 24, 1926 in Sherman. She was a member of the Crutchfield Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; son, Larry Presley of Whitewright; daughter, Peggy J. Terry of Norman, Okla.; sister, Fannie Brown of Sinton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will be at the funeral from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. |

Presley, 78, a Sherman resident who died Saturday at a Sherman hospital, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dannel Chapel, with burial in Westhill Cemetery. Mrs. Presley was born Oct. 9, 1905, in Plano, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Taylor. She married William A. Presley Jan. 4, 1926, in Sherman. Mrs. Presley was a member of Crutchfield Baptist Church, and was a retired L.V.N. from Wilson N. Jones. Surviving are her husband of Sherman; son, Larry of Whitewright; daughter, Peggy J. Terry of Norman, Okla.; sister, Fannie Brown of Sinton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will be at Dannel Chapel from 7-8 tonight. |
