Lester Ray Pressley, age 75, died
on my February 24, 1989. He was 75 years old. Mr. Pressley was formerly of
Conowingo, Cecil Co., Maryland. At the time of his death he lived in Old
Fort, McDowell Co., NC. He was the son of Samuel Joseph and Mattie Coe Presnell.
Mr. Pressley died of respiratory failure in McDowell Hospital, Marion, NC.
Before his retirement in 1976, he was a heavy equipment operator at Eldreth
Construction in Conowingo,
Maryland.
He is survived by three children: Betty Mae Graul, Leslie Ray
Pressley,
and Jean Ann Reese; a brother, Gerdine Presnell of Perryville, MD;
sisters
Ellen Gardner of North East, MD, Lela Stewart of Old Fort, NC, and
Sina
Gillespie of Marion, NC, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services took place at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, Rising Sun,
MD on February 27, 1989
Burial was at West Nottingham Cemetery in Colora, Cecil Co., Maryland.
