Funeral services for Roy Presley, age 76, of Dodge City, were held at Hanceville Funeral Home on Thursday, December 9, 1999 at 1:00 p.m.  Reverend Ray Elsberry and Reverend Doug Ford officiated the services.  Interment was in Good Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Presley passed away on Monday, December 6, 1999, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.  He was employed as a truck driver, and was a veteran of the Army Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Faye Presley; three daughters, Alice Forester, Nan Rutherford, and Malena Haynes, a son, William "Mickey" Presley; two sisters, Hazel Owen and Thelma Presley; fourteen grandchildren, Allyson Burks, Mark Forester, Emily Haynes, Gary Haynes, Paul Heinl, Leslie Kay, David Presley, Maria Presley, Michael Presley, Tommy Rutherford, Melinda Thornton, Sheila Thornton, and Tami Welsh; and eleven great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, James Walter and Laura Jinright Presley.
