Andrew Jackson Presley

Andrew Jackson Presley, 70, died at a local hospital Wednesday at (unreadable) a. m. following a serious illness of apoplexy for the last two weeks. Funeral services will be held from the Forest Avenue Baptist church Thursday at 10 a. m., the Rev. H. L. White, pastor, conducting. Burial will be in West Hill, directed by Talley Funeral home.

Born July 5, 1865, in Tennessee, Mr. Presley had lived in and near Sherman for the last 30 years. He came here from Kentucky.

Surviving Mr. Presley are one daughter, Mrs. Jerry Atkins of Sherman; one brother, George Presley of Dallas, and one grandchild, Jerry Atkins Jr., of Sherman.
