Austin B. Presley died Sunday at his home. He was 65. A native of Sweetwater, Tenn., and a Red Bank resident since 1946, he was retired from Stanford Iron Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Presley and a sister, Agnes Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Rentzell Presley; one daughter, Sharon Carmichael, St. Simon Island, GA; one son, John Austin Presley, Wilson, N.C.; mother, Rose Presley, Sweetwater, Tenn.; two sisters, Goldie Frye and Barbara Kyker, both of Sweetwater; five brothers, Girstle, Carl, Frank and Jim Presley, all of Sweetwater and Bill Presley, Rossville, GA.; five granddaughters, Angela Romaine Carmichael, Orlando, Fla., Angela Lee and Ashley Presley, Wilson, N. C., Johnnie Sue and Patricia Jamison, both of Chattanooga; two great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Gossett officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
