PRESSLEY, Billy Ray, 59, Lancing, born March 25, 1941, formerly of Lancaster, S. C., passed away Sunday Feb. 4, 2001 at his home in Lancing.

He was preceded in death by Mary Francis Stevens; parents William J. Pressley and Maggie Steele Pressley and his brother Richard Pressley.  He is survived by his wife Janice Marie Johnson Pressley; children Billly Gene Pressley of Homestead, Fla., Cathy Pressley Hegler of Lancaster; Tanya Marie Taylor of Princeton, Fla., Anthony Brian Pressley of Lancing and Cynthia Jessica Pressley of Lancing; six grandchildren, Sondra Kay Pressley, Sabrina Brittany Presslely, Dustin Ray Hegler, Joseph Ray Hegler, Raylee Angel Hegler and Justin Lee Taylor; two brothers, J. W. Pressley of North Carolina and Al Smith Pressley of Lancaster; seven sisters, Nannie Lee Parker of Waxhaw, N. C., Minnie Howard of Jacksonville, Fla., Helen and James Edwards of Pageland, S. C., Louise Neal, Rebecca Mackey, Laura and Frank Funderburk and Shirley and Red Stevens, all of Lancaster.  

Burial was in the Hawn Cemetery, Lancing.
