Carl Randall Pressley, 54, of Ledan Extension, Gainesville, died Thursday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

A native of Jackson County, he had lived most of his life in Hall County.  He had worked for more than 20 years at Georgia Chair Co. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Pressley; brother, Jerry Pressley; and one grandchild.  Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Collins, Oakwood, and Carlette Pressley, Gainesville; son, Paul Pressley, Gainesville; sisters, Elaine Martin, North Carolina, Paulette Stewart, Jefferson, and Barbara Cochran, Ann Hewell, Cathy Norris and Deborah Goforth, all of Gainesville; brothers, Sammy Pressley, Maysville, Larry Pressley, Gainesville Mill, Stanley Pressley, Homer, Ray Pressley, Tadmore, Ronnie Pressley, Gainesville, and Eddie Pressley, Dahlonega; mother of his children, Daisy Tur; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Little-Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Harold Gaines will officiate. Burial will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.

Little-Davenport Funeral Home announces the death of Carl Randall  Pressley, age 54, of Ledan Extension,
Gainesville who died Thursday, May 22, 2003 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 24, 2003 in the Little-Davenport Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Harold Gaines officiating. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2003.
