Clyde:

Cora Lee Pressley Jones, age 98, of James Street, died Wednesday,
June 12, 2002 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

She was a native and life long resident of Haywood County. She was the
daughter of the late Jim and Rosie Henson Pressley. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Harley Walker Jones; two sons, Casey and Donald Jones;
five brothers and one sister. She was a member of Center Pigeon Baptist
Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Crush, and her husband, Leslie, of
Clyde; a son, Leroy Jones, of Clyde; 20 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren
and 10 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002 at the
Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The Reverend Jerry Nelson will
officiate. Burial will be at Center Pigeon Cemetery. The family will
receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002 at the funeral
home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.

The pallbearers will be Kelly and Will Jones, Don Jones, Jr., Doug Zimmerman,
Hugh Phillips and Daniel Clark.
