Services for Mrs. Iva Lee Ashe Pressley, 89, of the Speedwell community, who died Saturday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home, Sylva. The Revs. Raymond Shuler and Robert Blanton will officiate. Burial will be in Cullowhee Cemetery.  Pall bearers will be grandsons.

She was a life-long resident of Jackson County.

Surviving are six sons, John C. of Johnson City, Tenn., Howard of Bremerton, Wash., Fred of Wiggins, Miss., Frank of Lakeland, Ga.,  David Swain Pressley of Renton, Wash., and Buford Pressley of Cullowhee; five daughters, Mrs. Nora Dillard of  Sylva, Mrs. Hicks Louise Johnson of Winter Haven, Fla., Mrs. Lula Oates of Clover, S.C., Mrs. Jessie Howell of Waynesville and Mrs. Ruth Hess of Asheville; a sister, Mrs. Hicks Cowan of Cullowhee; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends of 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
