Jewel Dean Presley of
Tellico Plains, passed away at 6:15 p.m., Friday, April 20, at Wood Presbyterian
Home. She was a member of Ball Play Tabernacle Church of God. She was 74.
Preceded in death by: husband, Dewey A. Presley. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law-Janice Fritts and Tracy and Ray Rogers of Cleveland; Sophia and Jim Strohl of Greencastle, Ind.; Fledia and Stanley Presley of Tellico Plains; Theresa and Tommy Jones and Barbara and Jimmy Browder, all of Sweetwater; Sons and daughters-in-law-Marvin and Millie Presley, James Presley, Toney and Pauline Presley and Dewey Jr. and Julie Presley, all of Tellico Plains; and Affaine Presley of Englewood; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; Sisters-Merita Hollingshead of Tellico Plains; Barbara Aileen Campbell of Loudon; Brothers-Aaron Bivens of Jefferson City; Reece, J.C., Burl, W.F., James Baron and Walter Harold Bivens, all of Tellico Plains; Aveory and Charles Bivens of Knoxville; Earl Bivens of Madisonville; and Jarvis Bivens of Vonore; Half-brothers-Bruce Bivens of Loudon; Eldon Bivens of Tellico Plains; Aunt-Bertha Williams of Sweetwater; Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services
were 2 p.m., Monday, at Ball Play Tabernacle Church of God with the Revs.
Beecher Miller and Walter Harold Bivens officiating. Interment was in the church
cemetery. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
