Johnny Roy Presley, 45, of McKenzie died Wednesday, November 2, in a Greenville hospital.  He was born in Butler County on October 2, 1938 to the late Mr. Kelley and Mrs. Pecola Presley.  He was a faithful member and a deacon on the Springhill Baptist Church and a Mason.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Springhill Baptist Church, Georgiana, with the Rev. R.L. Gilmore, Pastor, officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery, Presley-Fluker Funeral Directors directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Mae Presley, McKenzie; three sons, Johnny Ray Presley, Gregory Presley and Terry Presley, all of McKenzie; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Shirley Johnson, Georgiana, and Mrs. Clementine Maye, McKenzie; a stepmother, Mrs. Irene Presley, Greenville; a stepbrother, Robert Crittendon, Greenville; two step grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
