Final Rites for J.D. Pressley, 75, To Be Held Today

Joseph D. Pressley, 75, died at 9:15 a.m. yesterday morning at his residence, 3404 College Road, and will be interned at the Worthington Cemetery, Burleson County, today at 2 p.m., funeral arrangements being made by the McDonald Funeral Home, Bryan.

Conducting the graveside services will be Rev. J.M. Nunley, minister of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ, College Station.

Pressley, born November 16, 1876 in Burleson County, is survived by four sisters and three brothers:  Mrs. May Cowley, Mrs. Myrtle Simmons, both of Houston, Mrs. M.E. Mitchell, Mercedes, Mrs. Y.C. Watson, Bryan, W. B. Pressley, Houston, M.C. Pressley, Austin and H.H. Pressley, Bryan.

The body will lie in state in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral Home until approximately 1:30 p.m. today.
