GLENVILLE - Leonard E. Pressley, 63, of Breedlove Road, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 1, 2002.

A native of Jackson, where he lived most of his life,
he retired from Cullasaja Club in the waste water treatment plant. He was a member of Hamburg Baptist Church, where he was a deacon since 1980 and held many other offices in the church.

He was the son of Ruby Lucille Breedlove Pressley of Glenville and the late Doyle B. Pressley. Surviving are his wife of 36 and a half years, Wilma Annice Adkins Pressley; three daughters, Roberta Jennings and her husband, John, of Norton, Cyndi Pressley and her fiance, Roger Rasnic, of Cullowhee, Nicholette "Nicky" Boutte and her husband, Forrest, of Cashiers; a sister, Velda Lovell of Smrna, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Forrest Boutte V: Aloura Boutte, Jordan Cobb and Jerrica Cobb.

The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hamburg Baptist Church with the Revs. Matt Ledbetter and Lester Sutton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Hamburg Baptist Church Youth Fund or the Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Arnold Nicholson, Roger Rasnic, Felix Villereal, Ray Fowler, Todd Dillard and Verner Rice.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Bryson and Buster Lanning.
