Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Pressley were held Saturday,
July 19, 1997, at St. Mary A.M.E. Church in Salters, conducted by Rev.
Nathan Morris. Burial followed at St. Mary A.M.E. churchyard cemetery
directed by Dimery and Rogers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pressley, 40, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at the Medical University Hospital in Charleston. She was born January 22, 1957, a daughter of Henry C. Pressley and the late Rachel Gamble Pressley. She was employed as a housekeeper in the hotel industry. She was a member of St. Mary A.M.E. Church.
Survivors, in addition to her father of Salters; are: three daughters, Detra R. Pressley, Monique S. Pressley and Jamie S. Pressley, all of Salters; four brothers, Henry Pressley, Jr., Clarence Pressley and Johnny Pressley, all of Salters; and Charles Pressley of Florence; and five sisters, Mrs. Ruther Bell Nelson, Mrs. Racheal Lee Chisolm, Mrs. Christine Miller, Delores Pressley and Veronica Pressley, all of Salters.
