Ossie Grady Presley, 81, of Apison died Wednesday, April 25, 2001.

A 63-year resident of Apison, he was a member of Apison Baptist Church. Mr.
Presley retired from TVA and Lockheed. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and
was preceded in death by his daughter, Marion Frances Bates.

Survivors are his wife, Katherine Presley; sons, Thomas Presley,
Lawrenceville, Ga., and Bobby Presley, Ringgold; daughters, Janice Bundschu,
Chattanooga, and Nancy Carolyn Bowlin, Cleveland; brothers, Earl Presley,
Apison, and Harrell Presley, Ringgold; sisters, Bertha Phy, Lansing, Mich.,
Ethel Presley and Jessie Cochran, both of Apison; 10 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. John May
and Rev. Richard Blalock officiating.

Burial will be in Plowman Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Apison Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
