Archie Presley was born 1845 Hawkins Co., TN and was the son of Martin Presley
and Sela (or Celia) Lawson. Archie
and Emily were married on October 27, 1877 in Hawkins Co., TN. Archie and Emily are the names we know them
as. Emily was the daughter of
Sylvaneous Brewer and Amelia Moore. Sylvaneous was of German descent and
Amelia was a Cherokee Indian. Emily was born August 1859 in Lee County,
Virginia, and died 1935 in Dizney, Harlan county, KY. Emily was the 9th of 13
children of Sylvaneous and Amelia Brewer.

The 1880 Census of
Hawkins Co., TN lists Martin Presley, Archie's father, as being age 60
(born circa 1820 NC) and Sela, his wife, being age 55 (born circa 1825). In the household of Arch and Hannah
(Martin’s son and his wife) the census lists a grandmother Mary Presley age 98
(born circa 1782). Martin also had a brother by the name of Andrew Jackson
Presley.

was born August 2, 1868 in Hawkins Co., TN and died April 9, 1969. Witt married Maggie Miner on May 5,
1893 and had 13 children.

was born 1871 in Hawkins Co., TN and died August 9, 1951. William married Jane (last name
unknown)
- Mary
Presley
was born 1876 in Hawkins Co., TN and married Bob Blanken.
Archibald "Archie"
Presley, son of Martin and Celia Lawson Presley, married Emily Brewer
and had the following children:

Andrew “Andy” Jackson Presley
was
born October 9, 1878 in Hawkins Co., TN and died June 12, 1924, Harlan Co.,
KY. Andy was a farmer and
blacksmith by trade and married Drusilla Hall on October 4, 1901 in Harlan
Co., KY. Drusilla was born
January 30, 1882 and died January 30, 1962 in Harlan Co., KY. She was the daughter of Carlo Hall and Julia Ann Lankford. Andy and
Drusilla had 9 children. {This
is the line I come down through.}

Presley
was born September 1880 in Hawkins Co., TN and died March 10, 1957 in KY. Millie married Sam Thomas on May 27,
1894 and had 10 children. Click

Archie and Emily lived in Hawkins
Co., TN until approximately 1885 when they moved to
Harlan Co., KY. Archie
and Emily crossed the frozen Clinch River in the winter of
1881-1882. Emily went first carrying the baby , Millie, and once
they were
safe on the other side, Archie came across with the wagon.

Paralee Presley was born August 17,
1885 Harlan Co., KY and died November 24, 1974 in IN. Paralee married Bill Middleton on September 2, 1899 and had 4
children.

Jesse
James Presley
was born August 14, 1887 in Harlan Co., KY and died March 24, 1959 in KY. Jesse married Elizabeth Wynn on March 21, 1907 and had 9
children.

Rachel Presley
was born September 26,
1889 in Harlan Co., KY and died January 26, 1961 in KY. Rachel married Isaac Madden on March
17, 1906 and had 10 children.

Green
Presley
was born October 14, 1893 in Harlan Co., KY and died July 7, 1926 in Harlan
Co., KY. Green married Eva Durham on March 15, 1920 and had 3
children.

Lillie
Presley
was born March 1899 in Harlan Co., KY and died November 8, 1933 in KY. Lillie married J.D. Bean on May 30,
1927.

Drusilla Presley
was born September
17, 1901 in Harlan Co., KY and died March 10, 1994. Drusilla married John Johnson on May 6, 1919 and had 7
children.

Bertha
Presley
was born October 31, 1904 and died October 30, 1993 in MI. Bertha married Green Cloud on August
26, 1920 and had 10 children.
Archie had a daughter from what we
believe was a previous marriage.
