This is a photograph of Greenberry Presley and his son Daniel Porter Presley and was taken sometime after 1900, presumably in Tennessee.
 

Greenberry Presley was born January 25, 1840 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. He was the son of John Presley and Rebecca Greene.  On the 1850 Hawkins County, TN census, the John Presley family appeared as follows:

Greenberry Presley married Susan Mitchell in 1858 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. Together they raised a family of nine children.  They were: 

Sarah Ann Presley, born 1860
Greenberry H. Presley, born 1863
Nancy Jane Presley, born 1866 
Daniel Porter Presley, born 1868
William Presley, born 1870
Elizabeth F. Presley, born 1872 
George Earvin Presley, born 1874
Mary C. Presley, born 1876
James Wesley Presley, born 1879

Their fourth child, Daniel Porter Presley, was born  May 11, 1868 in Rogersville, Hawkins County, TN. He appears with his father in the photo on this page. Daniel Porter Presley took as his first wife Ida Wyman, in 1895, Hawkins County, TN.  They had four children.  His second wife was Ann Clifton with whom he had another five children.  Daniel Porter Presley died in Fayette County, KY in 1945.
