Guilford Jacob "Jake" Giles and Mary Jane Presley

Mary Jane Presley was born 24 February 1846 in Monroe County, TN.  She was the second daughter of John Elisha Presley, born 7 September 1817, Monroe Co., TN and Rachel Sarah Yarberry, his wife, born 7 January 1875, SC.
On February 4, 1865 in Monroe County, TN, Mary Jane Presley married Guilford Jacob "Jake" Giles, born 1 December 1842 in Monroe County, TN, the son of  Thomas Giles and Christina Shaw.  Jake and Mary Presley Giles raised eleven children in Monroe County, TN.   Mary Presley Giles died 27 November 1918, and is buried at Corinth Cemetery in Loudon County, TN. Her husband, Jake Giles, who died 30 December 1924, rests beside her.

Georgia Mae Presley and George Washington Monroe Peacock

Georgia Mae Presley was born 23 April 1906 in Lenoir City, Loudon County, TN, the eldest child of Charles Perry Presley and Lorah Mae Myers.  She was the great granddaughter of Richard and Dicey Cornwell Presley. On April 7, 1923 she married George Washington Monroe Peacock, born 9 May 1898 in Alabama, the son of Millard Peacock and Sarah Worthen Peacock. 
George and Georgia Mae Presley Peacock removed to Wayne County, Indiana in 1927 in search of better opportunity and raised four children there.  They lost a daughter at birth. George Peacock died 4 November 1973 in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana.
