Daisy Presley's older sister stands behind her. Minnie Elizabeth Presley was born 17 February 1887 in Tennessee, probably in Henderson County. The youngest son is William Thomas Presley, born 13 August 1893 in Arkansas, and behind him are his two older brothers, John Riley Presley, born 27 April 1885 in Tennessee, and James Wesley Presley, born 22 March 1889 in Tennessee.
William and John Martha Presley moved their family from Tennessee to Arkansas sometime between 1890-1893.
William Riley Presley, Jr. was the son of William Riley Presley, Sr., born 16 July 1828 in Tennessee, and his wife, Mary Ann Hughes, born 1829 in Tennessee, the daughter of John Hughes and Elizabeth Smith. William Riley Presley, Sr. and Mary Ann Hughes were married in Rhea County, Tennessee on 9 October 1849. William Presley, Sr. served the Confederate Army as a Private in Company B, 61st Tennessee Mounted Division. He later moved his family to Burnet County, Texas where he is buried at Dillingham Cemetery in Briggs, Burnet County, Texas.
