Lydia Viola 'Minnie' Pressley was the fourth child of Richard Simpson Pressley and Philadelphia I. Evatt.  She was born 5 October 1879. Minnie married William Earl Childs who was born 9 September 1881.  They had a son, Jared Earl Childs, who was born 6 June 1921 and died 24 August 1957.

Minnie Pressley Childs died 3 June 1971.  Earl Childs died 22 March 1971.
