Many of the children of Madison County, Arkansas were educated at the Alabam School in
Alabam, Arkansas between 1925 - 1949. In the year 2000 the school was placed
on the National Register of Historic Places. 
The photograph below shows the school building which resides on the same parcel of land as a cemetery where many members of the Presley family are laid to rest.

The two young Presley men pictured below, Glynn and Guyle Presley, are the sons of Artie Presley and Virginia Montgomery of Madison County, Arkansas. Artie Presley was the son of Allen Washington Presley who was the son of Malinium Brown Presley (1828-1902 NC) and Nancy Terry Walden.
